Build the product surface. Backend, frontend, and infra that analysts and customers live in every day.
About the role
You will own product features from spec to ship. The analyst-facing UI, the orchestration backend, the integration layer that pulls customer telemetry into Zaun. The work that turns a clever model into a product analysts actually use.
You will read every detection that ships. There is no rule we cannot explain in a sentence. We expect engineers to be close to the security work, not abstracted away from it.
What you'll do
- Build and ship product features end to end across the stack
- Own the analyst workflow: investigation, triage, response, reporting
- Build integrations into customer security stacks (SIEM, EDR, identity, cloud)
- Keep the platform fast, reliable, and easy to operate
Who you are
- Four or more years shipping production software as a strong generalist
- Comfortable across backend, frontend, and infra. You pick up what is needed
- High ownership, low ego. You finish things
- Care about craft and the analyst on the other end of the screen
Nice to have
- Past work on developer or operator tools
- Background in security tooling, SIEM, or SOAR
- Comfortable with Postgres, Kafka or similar, TypeScript, and one of Go or Rust
