Founding Account Executive

First closer hire. Run the full cycle and build the sales motion alongside the founders.

About the role

You will be our first dedicated account executive. Running full cycle from outbound through close, mostly into mid-market and enterprise security teams.

You will define the playbook with the founders, not inherit one. The first 30 customers buy you, not the brand, so technical depth and clean follow-through matter more than logos on a deck.

What you'll do

  • Run the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, demo, evaluate, close
  • Sell to Directors of Security and CISOs at mid-market and enterprise
  • Build the playbook: scripts, decks, evaluation criteria, pricing motion
  • Stay close to product. Bring customer truth back to the team every week

Who you are

  • Three or more years closing security or developer infrastructure software
  • Comfortable being the most technical person in a sales meeting
  • Track record of building a territory from zero
  • Want to own outcomes, not just a quota

Nice to have

  • Past founding or early AE role at a security or infra startup
  • Strong network with CISOs and security leaders
  • Background in security, IT ops, or technical pre-sales
